I will share Gizmodo's sentiment about this product 100%.This booooombox doesn't have to sound like a Harmon Kardon system. All it has to do is look good next to cardboard and play N.W.A., Nolan Thomas, Warren G and Kenny Loggins the way they were meant to be heard. That, it does.

It does take 10 "D" cell batteries, and I found that you can find a pack of 10 at Target for about $9 if you hunt around, AND you can prolong the life of the batteries if you make sure to switch the AC/DC switch on the back to AC when you are not using it.Otherwise the clock (any "sleep mode" functions) will suck the battery life down. That or it all transferred to the iPod.I'm not sure - just make sure to flip that switch.

It even comes in a huge box you could cut up and breakdance on.
