(More customer reviews)This CD Player has almost everything you could need, Bass Boost, fourty-five second anti-skip on cds, one hundred second on MP3 (which is really cool because it actually stops moving the CD, but still plays the music [it memorizes the songs for two minutes, and then memorizes the next two almost unnoticably] during those two minutes) In the month that I've had it the only time it's skipped is when the batteries run low, and I think that the anti-skip (with the stopping of the cd) with the MP3's actually adds to battery life.

The GPX CDPM5004 personal CD player gives listeners access to both their CD and MP3 catalogs in an affordable, lightweight package. The device is compatible with CD, CD-R, and CD-RW formats, but also plays compressed MP3 files when loaded on a CD-R disc, making it a far more affordable alternative to Flash memory MP3 players. And as a further incentive to digital music fans, it's also quite eye-catching, with a half-moon-shaped window that reveals the spinning CD inside. Active listeners who plan to take the CD player jogging or on bumpy car trips will welcome the anti-skip protection (ASP), which stores the music data for a set time to safeguard against interruptions from jostling. The ASP runs for 120 seconds for MP3 files and 45 seconds when playing CDs.
