(More customer reviews)I should have paid more attention to the reviewers who said it WOULDN'T play computer-burned CDs, no matter what Coby claimed.I never got it to play one, even tried CDs burned on different computers.The CDs played just fine in my car, but never on this player.And even worse, after a total of no more than 30 hours using this player, most of that using the flash drive function, it no longer recognizes "store-bought" CDs.A complete waste of money!

Cornet BH-426 Portable CD/ MP3 Player with USB/ SD Review

(More customer reviews)I compared this with 2 other boomboxes in my store. All are near the $50 (w/shipping) price range. Out of the Sony ZSE5 series (the white and colored boomboxes) The NAXA NX-250/NPB-250 (used to cost forty sixdollars after shipping) and the Cornet BH-426 I found the following.

The NAXA NX-250 sounds the best, somewhat decent bass, though don't expect great bass for less than a hundred bucks
Second in order of performance was the Cornet, with a tinnier sound and less bass than the NAXA. It does look the nicest by far out of the three.
The Sony had by FAR the worst sound. Way worse than the Cornet. No bass, just totally flat mid range.
The radio was hardest to pick up FM on the sony as well. If you can afford it, and Amazon drops the price back to ninety two dollars, the sony CFDG505 CFDG505BLACK DOES sound about 10 times better than even the NAXA NX-250, proving that if sony's low end boombox is j-u-n-k at lest their mid range box is spectacular.

(More customer reviews)If you are looking for a system that is dual-voltage and that can play music off a USB stick, it is one of the few systems that can do that. The advantage of using a USB stick is to load 500-1000 songs and not have to deal with CDs anymore.
Music quality is ok - not great but not bad ether.
The frame looks good but the quality is not too good - i.e. buttons are hard to press, a lot of times it either does not skip forward a folder or skips forward 2 folders instead of one.
Amn really suprised that the remote does not have a volume control button.
Overall i would buy it again but only for the dual-voltage and USB stick features. If you do not need these features then there are better systems.
