(More customer reviews)I bought this portable CD player to occasionally listen to some CDs while I baked.It is small and light enough to move around but I wanted it stationary.The radio reception is mmmeh.If some one in the house moves, the signal is lost to static.I wanted to play CDs so I overlooked this nuisance.

I took it out of the box and read the instructions.It states to always use the stop button to stop the CD and never to just open the lid.Okay, I figured it was cheap so I would follow the instructions to prolong the life.

I found a place to put it and left it there.I only played a few CDs a week.Once, I used the repeat feature.I always used the stop button and even waited for the CD to stop spinning before switching out.Overall this product probably had less than 40 hours of service before it started to clank when it tried to read a CD.It played another two times and now it can't read CDs at all.Only clanks, clanks, clanks.

So for $20 it worked for about 40 hours.It was in only in our house for about 2 months.

Well 25 bucks sounded too good to be true. First thing I noticed was an unGodly hum that has no rhyme or reason. I never heard the name Coby before and hope to never hear its name or its hum again. (you get what you pay for)

(More customer reviews)I'm a bit confused as to some of the negative reviews for this CD player.It is not advertised as having a flash drive nor does it say you can play an MP3 player through it.It states it will play CDs with MP3 files on it.Big difference.Also, complaints about the tuner not being digital...nowhere is it advertised to be.People really should read the description of the product before buying it and then complaining about it in a review.

This is a great CD player.I've had it for several weeks now and have never had an issue with it at all.CDs play fine and the radio (AM & FM) come in crystal clear.I would definitely recommend this CD player to someone looking for a no-frills player that works extremely well for the price.Compact, light-weight and EXTREMELY easy to use.My six-year-old daughter uses it with no problem at all.HIGHLY recommended.

(More customer reviews)My daughter is almost 2, and I wanted an inexpensive CD Player with an auxiliary input. We've only been using it about a week, but I have no complaints at all. It's compact, and it has repeat all or repeat only one song (which is perfect for her because there's one song she wants to listen to over and over). The cd player is not noisy, like some can be (the buzz when the cd spins). For the price, I'm very satisfied.

Con:
1. Puny sound (but it's a tiny, inexpensive stereo...)
2. IT HUMS. In radio or CD mode, there is a moderate/low pitched hummming sound that comes through the music. Even when you're not playing a CD, there's the hum. I thought it was just me, since I'm very sensitive to hums, but my wife (who doesn't care) noticed it, too, without my pointing it out.

I MAY keep this boombox because it's cheap and cute, but the hum really does irritate me.

(More customer reviews)This is a very nice cd player for the price (I paid $24.99 from Amazon). I got it for my husband so he could listen to his CDs while he was working in the garage or outside or while he was doing his exercises. It works very well, the sound is rich and full for a little, inexpensive player and doesn't sound tinny at all. It is easy to use and is not big and bulky - very portable. Since it was so inexpensive, it doesn't even matter if he manages to scratch it up or drop a tool on it or something.

Also, it is a nice shape - not like those strangely shaped round cd players that look like bug's heads and the speakers look like bug's eyes!

As an added benefit, it has a port to plug in your MP3 player so you can listen to music or audio books you have on your MP3 player as well.

Also, it comes with a remote control which I didn't see mentioned in the description at Amazon. All in all, a nice cd player at a very nice price! It was so nice, I ordered one for myself as well!

Pros:

1. It's small and easily portable.
2. Cute.
3. Doesn't take much to figure out how to use it once you get used to it.
4. Blue light is pretty and makes a nice night light.
5. Sounds better than I thought would.
6. A good deal. I didn't spend much on this CD radio at all.

Cons:

1. Claims that there is a headphone jack, but I never found one.
2. The blue light might annoy people who play their radios while trying to sleep.
3. I did have a hard time getting it to work at first, but that could be chalked up to simply not being used to a new radio.
4. Don't expect the best. This is an inexpensive radio, so you get what you pay for.

Overall, this a small, basic CD radio that's useful for those who need a new one.I just it had a headphone jack.
